I don't feel like making a video so I am making it a Blog instead.
So I went to see 2012, you know the new blockbuster about the end of the world supposedly happening in 2012, I have to admit I was a little concerned walking into this two and a half hour long movie, I mean where were the main characters supposed to flee to in order to escape the END of the freaking world.
Luckily ... My wife and I said that very word to each other many times during the movie, because every time shit was about to hit the shingle "Luckily" something happened so it didn't quite get there.
2012 is a movie you are going to wanna see in the theaters, it is full of kick as destruction of the kind that would just fall flat on your 40 inch flat panel (No Phun Intended).
We are following a Writer turned Limo driver in his attempt to rescue his family from the worlds end, the one thing I like about disaster movies is that you do not know who is going to survive, because let's be frank unless you are Hilary Swank in the Core it is pretty damn hard to stop the end of the world, so 2012 is focusing on the little family and their companieons, trying to get to China where the worlds Governments supposedly have a couple of "Arks" waiting for the lucky peple who had a Billion Euro's to spare for a ticket.
On the way we meet characters like Woody Harrelson and the Dalai Lama, and that is all I am going to tell you for now, but basically this is all about surviving big ass CGI and Disaster and live to tell the world.
I want to point out that Danny Glover is excellent as the President of United States, and we even Spot Queen Elizabeth in a scene.
2012 is great entertainment, plenty of effects and a disaster movie to end all disaster movies, if you can afford it in this world of no jobs, go see it but do it on a huge ass screen.
